Jewish Studies At CLP
Please note that the Jewish Studies Classes at CLP cannot be funded through charter school funding.
You asked and we have listened. Over the years, many of our CLP families have requested classes with a Jewish focus. We are lucky to have a CLP dad, Rabbi Natan HaLevy, who is also a Rabbi and is passionate about starting this Jewish studies program. We are just starting out and do not yet know the needs of our community. Our Jewish studies classes will be held on Tuesdays this semester from 10:00 -12:00 pm. The program has the potential to grow depending on interest.

Rabbi Natan HaLevy
Natan Halevy has an extensive background in teaching and mentoring. He has taught students of all ages and has synthesized a learning system which maximizes student’s time and focuses on acquisition of increased learning skills.
A major benefit of this learning style is that students develop their ability to learn more on their own. This is crucial when it comes to furthering ones torah learning. Natan prides himself on teaching in an engaging manner, which is enjoyable and helps students retain information.
He received his Rabbinic certification and Masters degree in New York.
As this is a beginning program, we welcome input from parents to help determine the focus of classes we will offer. We will have a parent meeting during the first day of class to discuss parent involvement in planning holiday programs, field trips and Mitzvah activities.
